I think twitter is pretty stupid, however, Fazed.org posted a link today to Nick Nolte's twitter account. Within 10 posts, I was laughing so hard tears were streaming down my face, my lungs were burning, and I could neither breathe nor speak. Please, enjoy responsibly.
Humor like this makes the world a better place.
Gary Busey's is pretty funny, too.
Enjoy,

So, the Penny Arcade boys linked to a trailer for the upcoming PA video game, LOOOOOOLZ!!!!! (sfw)
In other hillarious news, I recently started listening to a podcast called the Mediocre Show. Sweet, holy, goddamn this thing is hillarious. It's just two guys shooting the shit, telling drunken stories, and making fun of people. If you liked The Shallow End, you'd love this, because it's a hell of a lot funnier. If you use iTunes, go to the podcast section of the music store and search 'mediocre show.' It'll come up as "_mediocre show." (NSFW!!)
Enjoy,

This is a great example of why no wise engineering school would ever admit me to their program, lol.
Eh, I think it's SFW. Your mileage may vary.

I spent the evening with my friends Josh, Laura and Emily, drinking beer and watching cheesy horror flicks. Hehe, it was great. These are three people who have come to mean quite a lot to me over the time I've known them, even if I'm too lame to tell them that in person.
By the by, we watched a movie tonight called Skinned Deep. This movie is an experience, let me tell you. A teenage girl is on vacation with her family. They get a flat and stop to get help in a small town. Sound familiar yet? Yeah, that's where your ability to latch to anything rational or recognizable ends. The family they get help from turns out to be a group of freakshow murderers created(?) by 'The Creator;' a headless bodybuilder with dynamite for a wang. From there I'm not sure how to describe the film to you. It is simultaneously hillarious and fucking bizzarre. WATCH IT. I think my favourite part is probably the lovable dwarf from Willow, who plays a villain whose choice of weapon is porcelain plates, and who in the extra features describes the director as a 'genius.' He might be right.
I also recieved some etching supplies I ordered for a project I hope will be very, very cool :)
So now my question, which is directed especially at
philosophera. Do any of you know the history of CMYK printing? Specifically when it was developed and why those specific colours were chosen? Also, when doing four colour printing, what order do you print the colour layers in?
And, to close the entry, two very cool links.
time_on_line -- a community where people post about the current environtment immediately around them, inside or outside. It's neat to read, and to me, very calming.
For those of you who who didn't take a few years of Russian, though, there's We Feel Fine.org, which is even more detailed, and for me also very calming.
Goodnight,

LOL!!!!! Methinks someone's been reading The Shallow End.
Why didn't I think of that? It would have made a much better comic, hahahahaha.
Thanks

So, at this point, I'm probably posting enough to piss people off, but this one will be short and sweet.
Penny Arcade is, IMNHSO, one of the funniest fucking comics on the net right now, and EVAR. A lot of you probably already read it, but I don't know how many of you read the accompanying news posts as well. I do, because Tycho usually cracks me the hell up even whilst informing me. This post, from February 20th is no exception.
God. Damned. Right. Not that I'd buy Halo 2 for the pc anyway (or, likely Windows Vista either), but it was a pretty fun game.

"I was incensed by the announcement that Halo 2 would be arriving exclusively for Windows Vista - and not because I have any antipathy for the imminent Microsoft platform. Indeed, if you were wondering who would go to Gamespot and read their article series on Vista, you have found him. I visit Channel 9 religiously and drink deep of their largely unfiltered insider information conduit. But when the messaging that accompanies that announcement claims I need Vista because Halo 2 simply wouldn't be possible on Windows XP, I'm not being dealt with in good faith. My PCI-E 800XT isn't the newest card available, but I'll be God Damned if the original Xbox knows some trick it doesn't."

Hehe, someone told me that Sam Jackson had signed on to do Snakes on a Plane immediately upon reading the title. I didn't quite buy it...
...until now.
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAH! And Ellen doesn't seem to know what to do with him. Awkward...
